How it all began...
It all began with a boat. We bought a 21-foot center-console fishing boat. Stress and worries washed away. Whether fishing, snorkeling or just being out there, we didn't have a care in the world. We could just be, headaches of the 9 to 5 world began to fade away...being on the boat became 'where good life happens'. The boat needed a name. It had to be something catchy and a reflection of our style. A popular 70's police drama had just made a come-back; we love the tropical, beach, tiki theme, and it was always Five O'Clock on the boat - and one day Tiki Five-O popped into my head.
I wanted to create a logo for t-shirts to give family and friends, so I sketched out a fun design and Tiki Tom brought the logo to life...then catchy phrases, graphics and other ideas began filling my head –and Tiki Five-O soon took on a life of its own. Tiki Five-O was more than just a boat or a logo. Tiki Five-O became simply living life, living your dream - not waiting for 5 O'clock, because good life happens - and you don't want to miss it.
